A Practical Visionary

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work across different industries and in many different roles — from developer and architect to trainer, project and programme leader, strategist, and eventually Data & AI advisor. Each role has given me a different perspective on how organizations work, how technology can create value, and what it takes to turn ideas into reality.

Working across industries has taught me that there are often common patterns, but no two organizations are the same. Every organization has its own ambitions, people, culture, challenges and way of working. My experience helps me recognize patterns and possibilities, but I always look for the right “flavor” for each organization — an approach that fits its ambitions, people, culture and reality. There is no one-size-fits-all solution.

One experience that has stayed with me started in a boardroom where three departments presented three different sales reports — and not a single number matched. Confusion was high, trust was low, and progress had stalled. Six months later, we had a unified data strategy, a clear roadmap and measurable results that restored confidence.

That experience reminded me why I enjoy this work. Data and technology can solve important problems, but real progress happens when people gain clarity, trust what they are working with and see a way forward together.

Today, I help organizations navigate the complexity of Data & AI, understand how it can support their vision, create new opportunities and differentiate them in their markets. I connect strategic direction with people, governance and execution — helping leaders make informed choices, build the capabilities they need, and turn ambition into sustainable value while giving people the confidence to move forward.

I like technology, and like many others, I am amazed every day by the opportunities it creates. But what excites me most is what organizations and people can become with it.

I’m naturally curious. I like to understand how things work, challenge assumptions and explore what could be possible. I believe in visionary thinking, but also in the discipline of turning ideas into action. And I believe meaningful change happens when people feel heard, empowered and committed to making it happen.
